Successful artists are now being commissioned to create the selected designs on the forty life-size fiberglass gorilla sculptures that will be on display around Jersey from 27th July – 14th October. Sponsors were delighted by the talent and creativity of the art on display. Designs ranged from the wild and whimsical to bold and graphic and those with a more serious conservation message.
On 31st January, Durrell’s troop of gorilla sponsors were invited to Jersey Zoo to select from over eighty vibrant, fun and inspiring designs that have been submitted by a variety of local and international artists who want to take part in this summer’s Go Wild Gorillas art trail.
